The Chief Superintendent is the chief executive officer of the Calgary Catholic School District and provides advice to the board, district-wide leadership and general supervision over all schools and departments.
Seven superintendents assist the chief superintendent. Four are area superintendents, responsible for directly supporting principals in the daily operation of the schools.
The Superintendent, Finance and Business, Information Technology/Secretary-Treasurer is responsible for the financial and business services of the district. The Superintendent, Human Resources is responsible for all staffing and employee-related programs. The Superintendent, Specialized Program Schools/Instruction/Religious Education is responsible for the development, implementation, supervision and evaluation of all district programs. The Superintendent, Support Services ensures the district receives the required services for operations.
