School Council Information

Are you looking to make a difference in your childs school life, or are looking for another way to connect with the community?  We invite you to attend the Ascension of Our Lord School Council!  Attend either as a visitor or join as a regular participant.  Your help is always needed!

 

We meet every third Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the library.  Babysitting services are provided during this time, at the school, so all parents may have an opportunity to participate. 

 

 Fundraising has been a great sucess so far this year.   Below are the items that have been purchased so far…

• Basketball uniforms    

• Hepa Air filter                

• Presentations (Power of One and Charlotte’s Web)

• Books 

• Musical Theatre Option (various Items)

• 3 digital camcorders    

• 2 digital cameras            

• Cases digital equip         

• Smartboard and stand  

• Memory sticks 

• Senteo  Smart Board Clickers

 

The School Council has traditionally played a key role in raising funds to enhance the terrific teaching and learning that takes place here at Ascension of Our Lord!  Click here to see some of what has been purchased with fundraising money.
