School tours available! We love the opportunity to showcase our school! If you are interested call our school office (403-500-2075) and set up an appointment. Our office hours are: 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. Catholics and non-Catholics are encouraged to inquire.
Kindergarten Registration
Ascension of Our Lord has a “first come first served” policy when deciding whether a child is placed in a morning or afternoon class. If morning or afternoon is an important consideration for you please indicate your preference when you register. Please be advised that as the registration process proceeds room will become limited in either the morning or afternoon, therefore, you may not get your preference. We presently have two morning classes.
Registration is ongoing throughout the school year. A child who turns four years old on or before March 1 is eligible to attend kindergarten in the fall of that same calendar year. This means to register for kindergarten in September 2013, a child must turn four years old on or before March 1, 2013. The child’s birth certificate should be presented at the time of registration. Catholics and non-Catholics are encouraged to inquire.
New Student Registration
The child’s birth certificate must be presented at the time of registration. Children who are already attending Kindergarten do not need to re-register for Grade 1.
For families living in our designated areas, who are interested in registering at Ascension of Our Lord School, they must provide the following at their earliest convenience. Registration is ongoing.
Parents need to present the following for registration:
- Catholic baptism certificate of one or both parents.
- Childs birth certificate
- A copy of the child’s baptism certificate (if available)
- Proof of residency such as current utilities bill.
Please note that Ascension of Our Lord is closed during the summer from June 30 until mid-August.
