Bishop Grandin Singers in New York City

Congratulations to our Bishop Grandin singers, who had the opportunity to tour with us to New York City in April! We traveled with a group of 122 people from April 25 – 30, and enjoyed a very successful tour. The singers competed at the iconic Riverside Church in Manhattan, as part of the
Heritage Music Festival along with 2000 other participants. We were grateful to receive the the following awards:
The Senior Choir received a Gold Award and First Place in their division with a score of 94%
The Ensemble Singers received a Gold Award and First Place in their division with a score of 90%
The Junior Choir received a Gold Award with a score of 91%
Our thanks and appreciation goes out to Ms. Brochu, our Fine Arts V.P., and the many wonderful chaperones who made this trip successful and memorable!
GHOSTS SPRING INTO ACTION

The snow has finally cleared off the fields and the pitches and the Grandin Ghosts spring sports teams are all back in action. Along with the Junior and Senior Boys’ Soccer teams, the Senior Girls’ and Boys’ Rugby teams and the track team, we are thrilled to announce that we now have both a Senior and Junior Girls’ field hockey team. Please be sure to take in one of the many exciting games being played this spring, especially since many of our games are home games on our school field. Teams’ sports schedules can be accessed through the Calgary Senior High Athletics Association website or on the side bar on this website. Please come out and support our athletes!

Senior Boys Soccer

Congratulations to the SR boys soccer team who won the Kick off Tournament this past weekend, there were 24 teams total! The boys managed to win all of their 5 games on Saturday. Four out of the five games went into penalty shots and the teams goalies Winston Schnurr and Haydon Quinn made some excellent saves allowing the team to win many of the matches. Good job Boys!!!
