We would like to thank Arnida Guillermo for inviting her friend, Maria Chelo Loque and her children May, Jackie, and Vine to Bishop Grandin. Their demonstration of Tinikling, a Philippine folk dance, gave the students a chance to practice their skills. It also highlighted an aspect of Filipino culture that was new and interesting to many students and teachers at Grandin. The demonstration drew an enthusiastic crowd who jumped at the chance to participate. It was enjoyed by all.
