Work Experience

• 1 credit for every 25 hours worked.
• It is possible to get 10 credits in each of the courses Work Experience 15, 25 & 35.
• 15 credits in Work Experience are countable towards a High School Diploma.
• 5 credits in Career Internship are also possible and are countable towards a High School Diploma.
• 10 credits in Work Experience 35 can be used as a Grade 12 option course.
• Work Experience 35 credits can be used in the Grade 12 average to get into Post Secondary Institutions such as University of Calgary, Mount Royal College or SAIT.  You may consider Work Experience 35 even though you have 100 credits.
