AP Award Winners
ADVANCED PLACEMENT SCHOLAR AWARDS
The College Board awards Advanced Placement Scholar Awards to recognize students who excel on their AP Exams. Although there is no monetary award associated with these awards, they are a prestigious addition to any student’s university or college application. We are tremendously proud of all of the achievements of our AP students.
DESCRIPTION OF AP SCHOLAR AWARDS
National AP Scholar
Students must receive an average grade of at least 4 on all AP exams taken, and grades of 4 or higher on five or more of these exams (AP exams are graded on a scale from 1-5).
AP Scholar with Distinction
Students must receive an average grade of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.
AP Scholar with Honor
Student must receive an average of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken and grades of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams
AP Scholar
Student must receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more exams.
