D2L stands for Desire2Learn – a web-based Learning Management System selected to provide students, teachers and parents access to course content, digital resources, calendar events and other online communication tools. Our school district has chosen it to become our main platform for online communication between school and home for Junior High students.
Blessed Cardinal Newman students are now able to log on to D2L and access their courses. Teachers will be using the News section of D2L for homework or important information regarding the course. Teachers will be adding content to their courses over the year and implementing more tools as students become familiar with D2L.
Students will log on to D2L using the same username and password they use at school to log on to the lab computers. Parents should also know their child’s log on information so they can check for homework or information themselves. Students and parents can log on to D2L from our school website: www.cssd.ab.ca/cardinalnewman
