A rat-tas-tic week at Father Doucet School

May 13, 2013

What a rat-tas-tic week at Father Doucet!  During the week of April 22-26, the entire school community was immersed in the production of “RATS”, a comical musical based on the childrens’ story, “The Pied Piper of Hamelin.”

The cast worked diligently since January with all classes participating in musical numbers performed over two nights. Students were either rats or townspeople, acting, singing or dancing. Costumes and tails helped to define their perspective roles.

In addition, the atmosphere was positively rat-tri-fying as the week was officially proclaimed as, “RAT WEEK.”  Daily classroom competitions and bulletin boards adorned in rat themes added to the festivities.

This surely was a week that the students and staff at Father Doucet will never forget!
