Congratulations to Reece MacIsaac for his gold medal performance in Culinary Arts at the Regional Skills Competition held in March.
Reece competed against 14 other students from the Calgary region who all put in a solid effort. He prepared a two course meal. The entree course was beef rouladen with potato duchesse, braised cabbage, sautéed broccoli, and a demi glace. The dessert course was chocolate mousse complimented with raspberry sorbet, poached kiwi, chocolate ganache, almond praline and a white chocolate sauce.
Reece will now represent the Calgary region at the upcoming Provincial Skills Competition in Edmonton. Best of luck Reece!
