St. Clare students place top 25 per cent in Calgary Elementary School Mathematics Contest

The Grade 6 students at St. Clare School participated in the 2012 Calgary Elementary School Mathematics Contest. This contest, presented by Mount Royal University, is designed to encourage interest in math among grade 4, 5 and 6 students from Calgary and surrounding areas.

A Certificate of Distinction will be provided to students scoring in the top 25% of the contestants entered. This year, there were 23 schools and 1600 students who entered.

Two students from St. Clare, Georgina Nish and Donavan Seidel, received Certificates of Distinction.
