Teacher at Don Bosco School chosen as recipient in Day Made Better contest

A Day Made Better is an annual initiative that Grand & Toy created to honour the significant contributions of classroom heroes. Their goal is to thank outstanding teachers for their hard work with a little financial relief, and eliminate teacher funded classrooms.

On October 2, 2012, Grand & Toy Associates across Canada surprised up to 27 teaches at public schools from Halifax to Vancouver with a prize package worth $1500 that includes school supplies and a new ergonomic chair from Safco.

Sybil Galikas, a teacher at Don Bosco School was one of the lucky winners of this year's contest.
