Registration for 2010-2011
How to Register
Registration is ongoing throughout the school year.
The child’s birth certificate should be presented at the time of registration. Catholics and non-Catholics are encouraged to inquire.
Kindergarten Registration - Holy Spirit School offers a half-day (either morning or afternoon) kindergarten program. Registration is on a first come basis. At that time we ask for morning or afternoon preference, however, we do have to keep in mind balancing gender, class size, and transportation issues. To register, children must turn five years old before March 1 of the upcoming school year.
Grades 1 - 6 Registration - To register in Grade 1, children must be six years old before the first day of March of the upcoming school year. If your child is currently registered at Holy Spirit, then they will automatically be registered for next year. Parents of students not previously registered in grade 1 to 6 should call the school for an appointment to register.
New School Hours for 2010-2011
- The AM Kindergarten class starts at 8:45 AM and is dismissed at 11:31 AM
- The PM Kindergarten class starts at 12:21 PM and is dismissed at 3:20 PM (2:25 PM on Fridays)
- Grades 1 to 6 classes start at 8:45 AM
- Grades 1 to 6 classes recess is 10:20 to 10:35 AM
- Grades 1 to 6 classes lunch is 12:05 to 12:48 PM
- Grades 1 to 6 classes dismissal is 3:20 PM (2:25 PM on Fridays)
