Graduation Convocation/Mass Tickets have been mailed out If you do not receive your tickets by next week, please come and see Mrs. Grant in the Mac Lab (Room 1029). Also, if you have any questions in regards to seating, please click here to check out the Jubilee map prior to contacting the school.

 

Important Graduation Events

Graduation Mass - May 28, 2012 @ 10:00 a.m.

Graduation Mass will be held at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium. (Grads are expected to arrive by 9:30 a.m.)

Convocation Exercises - May 28, 2012 @ 2:00 p.m.

Graducation Convocation will be held at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium. (Grads are expected to arrive by 1:30 p.m.)

Graduation Banquet & Dance - June 2, 2012 @ 5:30 p.m. (Reception) 6:30 (Dinner)

The Graduation Banquet will be held at the BMO Centre. Tickets are $80.00/per person and there is no limit to the amount of tickets students can purchase.**Please note that graduation banquet tickets will be purchased online this year. The dates for ticket purchase will be May 8th until May 15th. Please check the website as more information will be presented at a later date. Thank you

**Please note: NO banquet tickets will be sold to students with outstanding fees. All school and athletic fees must be paid at the Business Office, prior to purchasing tickets online. Any money that comes into the school will be applied to outstanding school and athletic fees**

Graduation Ticket Order Quiz is Closed

The quiz is now closed. Students who did not complete the quiz will be receiving 2 tickets. Tickets will be mailed out early May to those who are on the convocation list. if you have any further questions about ticketing, please contact Ms. Solobay - Patricia.solobay@cssd.ab.ca

Just a reminder that the Grade 12 Retreat form must be signed by your parents and handed in to your TA by November 30th.

 

The Cinderella Gown Project

The Cinderella Gown Project provides the opportunity for young women in the Calgary area to be treated to a Cinderella experience of choosing a gown and accessories for their graduation ceremony. This program was created to allow students in financial need to be able to experience their graduation banquet with style and dignity where they would be otherwise unable to do so.

The Cinderella Event day, where the gown selection occurs will be on Saturday March 17th 2012 at Kingsland Centre 7430 5th St. SW.  All Cinderellas will receive an individual invitation and appointment time for this amazing pampering experience. This invitation must be presented at the door for entrance. Students may bring a female friend or female parent for help with their selection but there will be lots of help available at the event as they will be matched with Godmother volunteers. Please contact Ms. Slobodian or anyone in Student Services by February 20th, if you would like to participate in this program.

We are also accepting gently used gowns and accessories to donate to the Cinderella Gown Project. Please drop these items off at the Front Office.

Ministry Hours

Grade 12 students require to complete a minimum of 25 volunteer hours are mandatory to graduate at Notre Dame High School.

Ministry hour deadline for grade 12 students is February 28, 2012.
