 Speech Club

The abilities to think logically, express one’s ideas and communicate effectively are extremely valuable in today’s workplace. Students participating in Bishop Grandin’s Speech and Debate programs will enhance their communication skills while participating in an entertaining and stimulating environment. Competitions are held regularly on a regional and provincial level with other high schools. Talented students may earn the right to advance to our Canadian National teams which competes of the World level. Speech and Debate meetings are held weekly at lunch hour with some practices after school. Every attempt is made to accommodate student schedules.

 In addition to the extra-curricular opportunities outlined above, there are many other clubs and activities offered every year at Bishop Grandin to stimulate involvement and meet the interest of students. Students at Bishop Grandin High School are encouraged to become involved in all aspects of school life to make their three years memorable.
