Holy Weekend Greetings St. Alphonsus Families!
Today we celebrated our faith with Father Ugo as Grade 7M hosted our Holy Thursday liturgy featuring the Stations of the Cross! Our Grade 7’s (under Mr. Monaghan) and our new student choir (with the musical support of Ms. Riegel, Mr. Haley, Ms. Hafichuk and Ms. Castelo) were amazing.
Father extends a warm invitation to attend the weekend masses and celebrations at Mother, Mary of the Redeemer Parish. I’ve attached the link for you to find the parish information and mass times. http://mmredeemer.ca/

Spring Break Greetings to our Community Families and Friends!
We are getting ready to go on Spring Break this Friday with students and staff enjoying holidays for one week! School reopens on Monday, March 31, 2014.
Today our Social Justice Club kicked off our Lent Service Project for Ryan’s Well. This lent, our community is encouraged to think about how much water we use and is there room for each of us to conserve it? Our Social Justice student club leaders challenged our community to really conserve water for future generations as God calls us to be stewards of his earth for all! The students also spoke about the Ryan’s Well Project that we are participating in. Their powerpoint is included here for you to read through: Ryan’s Well
As engaging our students in acts of service and social justice is a BIG part of our school plan, I really wish to celebrate the students and teachers who found the inspiration and made the time to lead our school in this project. I hope you will consider giving generously to this meaningful project that comes from the care and heart of our students!
Blessings for a wonderful week of fun family moments that create joyful memories!
