What’s New? | December 2, 2013
School Connects. Beginning Monday, December 2, 2013 our school will be using a new automated phone message tool for communicating unexcused absences and lates. The absence message for High School students will be sent once a day and will contain the following details: your child’s name and the exact period that he/she was absent/late. The absence message for Grade 6-9 students will be sent twice a day and will identify the child’s name and if it was a morning or afternoon absence/late. We may also at times send school messages announcing special events or emergency messages. We ask for your patience as we bring in this new system. Please let us know if there are issues as we will be tracking them to ensure an efficient process. Please call Mrs. Semeniuk if you have further questions or concerns.
Parent View, starting November 4, give a quick and easy access to view to attendance records, progress report marks, standards and comments, and school announcements. The Parent View is operated through Power School, a web-based database application that facilitates student information management and communication among school administrators, teachers, parents, and students. It is easy to use and connects parents, students and schools with real-time information via the Internet. Please click Parent View or the Widget link. More information is available through the District website.
