REGISTRATION IS ONGOING AT ÉCOLE ST. GERARD

École St. Gerard is the excited recipient of a school year 2010-2011 $10 000 grant from BP Canada Energy Company’s A+ for Energy program. The award honours teacher Mme Tschofen`s  dynamic plans for engaging students in learning about energy.

Based on the Social Studies curriculum, the Grade 6 students have completed a spectacular mural depicting three native women. M. Dominique's class were guided by a guest artist in the use of colour, texture and form. Drop by the school hallways to see this masterpiece as well as many others from all the classes.

WOW VILLE

École St. Gerard is alive and GREEN. The school WOWville project, under the direction of Grade 2/3 teacher Mme LeBreton, was displayed at the Mayor's Environmental Expo  during the week of June 1st. Many students, teachers and environmental experts dropped by the display to learn about our school recycling program and take a look at the miniature town made entirely from recycled materials. Congratulations too all St. Gerard students on the successful end to this year long WOWville project.
