St. William School

The first school day of the new year for students is Thursday, Sept. 2, and it will be a full school day.

For those families who ordered school supplies through our School Council, those supplies have arrived and will be in your child class/grade for take home on the first day of school.

Our dates have been booked and confirmed for the new school year.

Individual and group photos will be taken on Friday, October 8. 

Retakes will be done on Monday, November 29.

On Thursday morning, June 24,  our school community came together to celebrate our year’s end with a Liturgy sponsored by the grade six class.

We recognized our student WISAGRA Award winners as part of this ceremony.  This award expemplifies students who have grown in the footsteps of Jesus by growing in WISdom, AGe and gRAce.

The deserving students in each class were chosen by their peers.  These students are:

Kindergarten: Vensel D.

Grade 1: Billie S.

Grade 2: Tanner P-W.

Grade 3: Grace H.

Grade 4: Rachael A.

Grade 5: Kyle H.

Grade 6: Sarah N.

ES II: Simson T.

St. Cecilia’s Parish is offering a variety of summer activities for children. Included in the summer activities is a Vacation Bible School will run from July 19 – 23.  Older teens will be interested in our Wake-a-Thon – look up the details, and download the pledge sheet and registration form from the same web site.

The last school day for our students is June 29.  They will receive their report cards and be dismissed at 3:00 PM.

Teachers will be dismissed on June 30 at noon.

Two summer camps for students aged 8 – 14 will be offered in July.

Apparently some of the magazine companies have already started sending renewal notices to parents who bought subscriptions through our school fundraiser.

If you plan to renew, please wait until council does the campaign again in the fall.
