Myra D'Souza

Myra D'Souza is currently serving her first term as a member of the Board of Trustees and represents wards 1, 2 and Cochrane. She served as vice-chair from 2018-2019.

avatarMyra is a strong supporter of diversity and inclusion. As a corporate trainer for Global Diversity Training, she specializes in cross-cultural competency to ensure organizations have a competitive edge. In addition, she has experience on several high-performance boards including the Calgary Co-operative Association and chairs four committees. She has represented Canada at two United Nations conferences on Human Rights and has travelled and lived in 23 countries. Myra is fluent in several languages and passionate about preparing students for opportunities on the international stage. Myra holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Calgary, a Chartered Director Designation and additional training in Board Governance.
