2016-2017 Fee Information
The Calgary Catholic School District charges a Transportation User Fee for eligible elementary students and all Diverse Learning students who access district-provided transportation. This fee applies to elementary students in regular programs and programs of choice within Calgary and all students in Diverse Learning programs (including those in junior and senior high).
Calgary Catholic students residing in Rocky View County but attending CCSD schools in Chestermere, Cochrane and Airdrie and who use transportation will pay the fees charged by Rocky View School Division, which arranges their transportation.

As you may have heard, the government is reducing fees for specific instructional supplies and materials, as well as transportation fees for students who live 2.4 kilometres or more away from their designated school. Please review the documents below for additional information.

CCSD Transportation Information 2017-2018
Grades K to 6 (City of Calgary)
The fee for regular and Diverse Learner students is $270 per student, to a family maximum of $540 for a family of two children or more using transportation. For the few schools where noon kindergarten transportation is offered, the transportation fee is charged. The fee has been increased in order to bridge the increased difference between the government student transportation grants and the actual current cost of transporting students in the district.
Junior / Senior High School Calgary Catholic Students (City of Calgary)
Calgary Catholic junior and senior high students who reside further than 2.4 km from their designated school may purchase a Calgary Transit monthly bus pass at a retail location. Eligible students must fill out a rebate form each year to receive the monthly rebate.

Fee Payment Schedule
The transportation fee payment will NOT be requested or offered at the same time that parents submit the transportation registration form. This timeline better accommodates all the address, program and school of attendance changes that occur with students between May of one year and the fall of the next year. Data in the transportation and accounting programs are more accurate using the new timeline. Fees for the 2017-18 school year will be due between October 17, 2017 and December 31, 2017. Parents can pay transportation fees online or by cheque made out to “Calgary Catholic School District” and submitted to the school.

available. Parents are advised to apply for transportation now, if considering it for
their child(ren). If after receiving more transportation information on fees
and eligibility, parents wish to cancel their child’s transportation
registration, they may do so at no penalty by notifying the school by September
