Admission of international students is on a yearly basis. Current international students who wish to continue their studies must be recommended by their principal and must notify the International Student Education Department of their intent to continue their studies at CCSD.

All international fees for the following school year must be paid in full before the end of June of the current school year in order to obtain the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) required by immigration to extend their study permit. All fees are paid through the International Student Education Department at the Education Centre and not through their current school.

It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that they retain their legal status in Canada. Please allow sufficient time for the processing of your study permit extension and/or your student visa renewal if you plan to go back to your home country for vacation and return to Canada to study. Please visit the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website for instructions on how to renew your student visa or extend your study permit within Canada.

All students must have a valid study permit prior to the start of classes in September. A copy of the new study permit and/or student visa must be submitted to international@cssd.ab.ca.
