Support and celebrate Pink Shirt Day, a day to raise awareness of bullying and encourage kind, inclusive relationships.

On February 23, 2022, the Calgary Hitmen are hosting their annual Be Brave #EndBullying game and online program. Students, staff and families have the opportunity to participate in several Be Brave initiatives.

Online Program: Bullying Prevention and Responsible Digital Citizenship

Classrooms and schools are invited to participate in free virtual sessions that will focus on cyberbullying and how important it is to work together to make our online community a friendly, safe space. Teachers can sign up here for a target-audience session:

  • 9 a.m. (kindergarten and grades 1-6)
  • 10 a.m. (grades 7-12).

In-Game Student Experiences

Four unique experiences are available to students to be part of the Be Brave in-game entertainment, including announcing the starting line-up and amusing fans as mini Farley the Fox.

Students can follow the below links to submit their audition video:

The audition submission deadline is 5 p.m. MT on February 14, 2022. Winners will be contacted after the deadline and will receive four free Be Brave tickets. Good luck, students!
