I am very excited to introduce myself to you as the Principal of Blessed Marie-Rose School and look forward to the journey that lies ahead in working collaboratively to continue the vibrant school community that all students, parents and staff members are proud of.
For over 25 years I have served in Calgary Catholic, with BMR being my 10th school. Each school has given me so many gifts and I bring those gifts with me to this school community.
From the moment you enter our building, you know you have entered a welcoming and peaceful place. Our staff is incredible and contribute to the success we see each and every day.
We will create a culture where students are encouraged to take risks in their learning and share their ideas and opinions in a respectful manner with their peers and teachers. We want to encourage and remind all stakeholders to always be kind, empathetic and to use the greatest skill needed in building positive relationships – the art of listening. Through our commitment to the students, staff, parents and the community we will build a school that excels spiritually, academically, athletically and artistically.
For new and returning families, I want to assure you that we will do our best in making the transition into the 2020-2021 school year a smooth one for both students and parents. We will ensure that we will create an authentic learning environment that celebrates each student’s unique gifts and maintains all learning plans for support and enrichment. Please follow us on twitter @BMRose_CCSD and browse our school website for continual updates.
