It is with great anticipation and excitement we continue planning and preparing for the opening of All Saints High School on September 4th

After a busy summer of construction, one only needs to drive past the school to witness the progress that is happening daily. Also, people are awe struck as they are greeted by the school as they enter south Calgary on the east side of MacLeod Trial. The size and magnitude of the school stands out from a great distance. It is truly a sight to see:

As students get back into their school routines this September we wish them the very best whether they are enrolled in high school for the first time or whether they are completing their junior high journey in grade 9. We encourage all future students to strive to be the best they can be daily academically, socially, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Starting the year off on the right foot is often the key to experiencing success.

We are have already connected with future students at both Bishop O’Bryne and Bishop Grandin during their grade 10 orientations. It was also a tremendous pleasure to meet with all grade 9 students residing south of Stoney Trial at their junior high schools as we collected feedback on possible athletic names for All Saints. Watch for an announcement very soon.

Please continually check the website for updates as this will be our main communication source for the upcoming months. Be sure to follow our Twitter account @ALLSAINTSccsd for updates.

Moving forward, we will use the new Legacy High School Philosophical Framework which was developed several years ago with parents, students, school administrators, district personnel and community representation, as the touchstone document that will guide our school development. I firmly believe in the importance of a collaborative process with the students at the center of all of our discussions. I look forward to building relationships with all stakeholders; including students, parents, teachers, school council, the parish and educational partners. Together, we will develop a mission and vision where all students have opportunities to succeed. Our students will have a champion supporting, nurturing, guiding and encouraging them through their faith and educational journeys. Developing engaged

thinkers and ethical citizens with an entrepreneurial spirit will aid us in ensuring high levels of achievement through quality teaching. If you have any questions, please contact me at mike.bolder@cssd.ab.ca and I will be happy to respond. We look forward to working with the students, staff, parents and our parishes and we hope each of you will be willing to share your gifts and talents as we build our school community.
