Graduation information from September 25th Grad 12 Parent Meeting

We are in the midst of preparation for All Saints' 2020 Grade 12 Graduation. The following information outlines the upcoming activities and important dates. Information will be updated as it is made available.
If you have not made your appointment for a photo sitting, please call Platinum Photography at 403-520-5252. Sitting dates are March 9 – 13, 2020. Sitting fee is $40, collected at time of sitting by Platinum Photography. Students who do not wish to purchase a package are asked to still book a photo sitting (no fee), as these photos are used for the yearbook and wall composite.
Grade 12 students in good academic standing are invited to participate in the All Saints Valedictorian Competition. As a result of the competition, students are chosen not just for the role of Valedictorian but may also be asked to participate in other graduation duties such as Master of Ceremonies and presenting toasts at the banquet. The initial meeting for the Valedictorian competition is March 5th, 2020.
A $45 fee will be charged to all grade 12s.This covers the cost of items such as gown and stole rental, facility rental, diplomas, diploma covers, programs, printing and postage costs.All outstanding fees, including the Grad Fee, must be paid in full online or at the Business Office. Students will not be permitted to purchase tickets to the Graduation Banquet and Dance if there are any unpaid fees. Any concerns can be forwarded to the Business Office at 403-500-2133.
A preliminary graduation list will be posted outside Student Services March 18th, 2020. This list indicates which students have completed the required courses and are currently registered in the correct/required courses for semester 2 to meet the minimum graduation requirements. A second graduation list will be posted April 9th, 2020. On May 8th, the final graduation list will be posted outside Student Services. Students who are not on the final graduation list will not be eligible to participate in the Commencement Celebrations (Mass and Convocation). This is a firm deadline and will be strictly adhered to, as several items, such as gowns and stoles, and programs for the Convocation all depend on final numbers.
Grade 12 Retreat
Grade 12 students must attend the Retreat on Friday, May 22, 2020.There is a $35 fee associated with this retreat.(Date and location to be confirmed).
On Friday, June 5th, 2020, Mass will take place at St. Albert the Great Parish at 10:00am. Graduates will wear their grad gowns to this event and are asked to be at the church by 9:30am. Families are welcome to join us for the Mass. Attire for grads is: shirt and tie for males and dresses or dress slacks for females.
The Graduation Ceremony will be held Friday, June 5th, 2020 at the First Alliance Church (12345 – 40 Street SE) at 2:00pm.The doors open at 1:30pm and graduates will need to be there by 1:30pm in their gowns. Families are welcome to join us for the ceremony. This ceremony is for students who have met all the requirements for graduation at All Saints High School.Tickets will be issued for this event, however, there is no cost for this event. More information on tickets will be coming soon.
Graduation Banquet and Dance
This event will be held at the BMO Centre (20 Roundup Way SE) on Saturday, May 23rd, 2020. The ticket price (to be determined) is in effect for each person attending, including the graduates. This covers the cost of items such as the rental of the facility, the decorations, the meal, and the disc jockey. Tickets to this event may be purchased once all school fees have been paid. Information on the amount of tickets available, and when they can be ordered will be posted once that information is finalized.
