Welcome to Cardinal Nation!
Bishop Carroll has a proud athletic tradition with many student-athletes succeeding both individually and collectively as a team. We offer students the opportunity to compete in all of the sports sanctioned by the Calgary Senior High School Athletic Association.
Our flexible schedule and independent study model allows our athletes to participate and focus on their competition while attending to their academic work; in this way they learn important time management skills and how to become advocates for their learning. Bishop Carroll High School teams regularly compete for City and Provincial Championships and have recently supported students who are playing major league baseball, on national hockey and baseball teams, are competing in the K&E (NASCAR) truck series and for Team Canada in the Olympics. Many of our athletes go onto compete for Canadian and American universities. Please check the links below for many of these recent success stories:
Bishop Carroll students are often recognized city-wide for their academic excellence, high skill level, leadership ability and their desire to give to others, both locally and globally.
