Extended French describes the continuity of the French Immersion program into high school. Students are able to take a maximum of three courses in French per year: French Language Arts, Études sociales and Mathématiques. Students graduating from the Extended French program with a minimum of 30 credits including FLA 30, receive a certificate of completion.

The senior high Extended French program is offered to students entering Grade 10, who have completed the Early or Late French Immersion program in Grade 9.

Students are taught the curriculum mandated by Alberta Education and also have opportunities to participate in cultural events and extracurricular activities that enhance their understanding of the French language and culture.
