The Off-Campus Education Teacher assists students to make informed choices about career pathways while gaining valuable learning/education experiences in the work world.
CSSD offers many exciting programs. Off-Campus Education teachers supervises students who wish to earn work/education credits while in high school (credits vary depending on the program). In some cases students may arrange their own employment but must meet with the off-campus education teacher and pass HCS 3000 Workplace Safety Systems prior to receiving any credit. In addition to supervision of the work experience programs, the off-campus education teacher is a key contact for summer programs which includes placement assistance for students in the Health Services Internship, Career Discovery Programs and The Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP).
