St. Albert the Great Church’s Children’s Liturgy ministry will be taking Registrations starting after all Masses this weekend and on the September 14-15 weekend. The cost is $20 per child to cover the costs of materials. We are also looking for volunteers for all Masses to help with this important ministry! Children of volunteers do not pay. Please come see us in the Narthex following Mass for more information.
VOLUNTEER TO HELP WITH THE SACRAMENTS
At St. Albert the Great, we are always in need of volunteers to help with the sacraments. There is a wide range of roles, everything from acting as a catechist to helping with sign-in tables, so please don’t hesitate to sign up if you think you might be called to such a ministry! FIRST EUCHARIST / FIRST RECONCILIATION PARENT INFORMATION SESSION
Preparation for the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist will begin with a parent session at St. Albert the Great Parish on Monday, September 30 at 6:30pm in the church (children preparing for the sacrament are not required to attend, just their parents).

BREAKFAST WITH THE BISHOP
On Saturday, September 21, SATG Parish will host Bishop McGrattan at the 12th Annual Breakfast with the Bishop. This fundraising initiative will be in support of the SATG Building Fund to offset some of the costs associated with the concrete restoration project, and to help with some much needed repairs to Holy Trinity Mission Parish on the Siksika First Nation. Tickets are $40 per person and are now available at www.franciscanandfriends.ca. All are welcome to attend this wonderful breakfast!
We invite all Moms to join other fellow mothers for a morning of spiritual and parenting growth through reflection, discussion, and connecting with one another at St. Albert the Great Church. We meet every Tuesday, beginning on September 10, from 9:45 am to 11:45 am. Babysitting is provided. If you are interested in volunteering as a childcare provider, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
RCIA HOSTS WANTED
The RCIA team at St. Albert the Great is looking for volunteers to host a refreshment break time beginning on Wednesday, September 11. The time commitment would be one Wednesday per month for about an hour. Please contact Edie at email@example.com for more information.
REGULAR FRIDAY EVENING MASS
Beginning in September, St. Albert the Great Church will have daily evening Mass, every Friday beginning at 6:30 pm. The First Friday will remain as our Healing Service. FALL
BIBLE STUDY COURSES AT SATG
Please join us in September for one of the following Bible Study Programs at St. Albert the Great Church:
- Jeff Cavins’ “The Great Adventure” Bible Study. This Bible Study focuses primarily on the Old Testament and will begin Thursday, September 19, at either 1:30 - 3:30 pm or 6:30 - 8:30 pm in St. Albert the Great room; cost is $50 and includes a workbook.
- Jeff Cavins’, “The King & His Kingdom,” covering the Gospel of St. Matthew, begins on Monday, September 9, beginning at 6:30 pm in St. Francis room, cost is $40 for the workbook.
- Jeff Cavins’, “The Spread of the Kingdom,” covering the Acts of the Apostles, begins on Tuesday, September 10, beginning at 1:30 pm in St. Albert the Great room, cost is $45 for the workbook.
