The following young adults are Alumni of Father Lacombe and are doing great things in the world! We are very proud to recognize them as part of the Laser Nation family and their achievements will continue to inspire future generations of Father Lacombe students.

Latoya Hutchinson is currently playing Volleyball for the Edinboro University Fighting Scots in Pennsylvania. Latoya won two Volleyball (and Basketball) City Championships at Lacombe while being one of Calgary’s top sprinters.

Jenna Reid plays Volleyball for the Barton College Cougars in Kansas. A multi-sport athlete while at Father Lacombe Jenna won two Volleyball and Basketball City Championships and was a leader both on and off the court for both.

Cameron Fox was one of the original MCLA Football players and has worked extremely hard both on the field and in the gym to excel at the game. Known for his versatility Cam is one of the top Running Backs in Canada playing for the Calgary Colts. Cam has also earned a spot on the CFL’s Calgary Stampeders practice roster.

Kaity Doiron was a multi-sport athlete while taking partial IB at Lacombe. Her intensity and drive were second-to-none and she was often looked up to by her peers. She is currently playing Soccer at the University of Lethbridge.

Manok Akwl is one the best basketball players to come out of Calgary in recent history. His intensity, hard-work and leadership skills have catapulted him to be a leader for the Mount Royal University Cougars. While at Lacombe Mangk played in two City Championship games, winning one and helped the Lasers finish 5th in the Province in his grade 12 year.

Julie Le is a recent graduate from Father Lacombe High School and was also the Class Valedictorian. She received an incredible scholarship to begin her studies and has being recognized as a student with outstanding potential at the University of Calgary. Her mark on Lacombe will certainly last forever.

Recent graduates Richard Gatip, Celina Spencer, Janica Echavez and Louise Barraza each earned the Schulich School of Engineering Scholarship last year valued at $34,000 per student. Only 16 Scholarships were awarded in total. We are very proud of these students and wish them only the best as they continue in their studies.
