LOC Student Handbook

Welcome the the 2020-2021 school year at Light of Christ Catholic School. We are blessed to have a wonderful school building to accommodate close to 520 students from Kindergarten to Grade Nine. In our ninth year of operation, we continue to look for ways to improve student success through cooperation with our parents and greater school community.

Our teachers and staff look forward to working with you throughout the school year. Plans have been made to help us continue building a school that has a strong instructional focus and a caring, Catholic school culture. We are blessed with an exceptional staff, talented students and supportive parents.

We believe that the best education students can receive is accomplished through continuous cooperation among the three major influences on our students: the home, the parish, and the school. This cooperation also has to be grounded in strong principles of mutual respect, support, and active involvement in the education of each child.

This handbook is one resource of many to keep you informed of the operations of the school. Please access the website for the most up to date information. We will also celebrate the accomplishments of our students and keep you current through our social media use of Twitter and Instagram.

Thank you for your ongoing support.
