St. Teresa of Calcutta offers a French immersion program of choice, serving families in the south end of the city. We have a population of 340 students from kindergarten to grade 6.
The partnership between home and school is important as we work toward providing quality education in a safe and caring school environment. We build upon the Catholic Community of Caring with a focus on providing an inclusive, welcoming facility. This work aligns with our three-year District faith theme of “Ask, and it will be given to you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7).
St. Teresa is an active school community with many opportunities for students to make a difference through participation, not only in their daily academic endeavors, but also through the many extra-curricular opportunities facilitated by many of our staff members and parent volunteers.
The children of St. Teresa are at the heart of every decision we make. We invite parents to be involved through volunteering, participation in school events and through school council. This involvement creates a strong foundation for a learning partnership between home and school. This foundation allows us to journey together living, learning, loving and growing in faith and knowledge each day.
