NOTRE DAME MUSIC
The Pursuit of Excellence in Music Education
♪ THE FOUNDATION ♪
Notre Dame Music Foundation is a registered non-profit society made up of music students, parents and supporters. All ND musicians and their parents are automatically members of NDMF.
The mandate of the Foundation is to support the Music program at Notre Dame High School and the artistic vision of its directors through fundraising and volunteering. Our members are committed to ensuring that every offered musical opportunity is available to each student musician.
Members are encouraged to attend the monthly meetings during the school-year. We welcome you to share your thoughts and ideas to better benefit our rising musicians. You will find the meeting dates in the Music Calendar.
NDMF members are integral in the planning and executing of events throughout the year. The Foundation organizes two large-scale fundraisers every year, the “Black & White Affair” Annual Silent Auction in Semester One, and the “Jazz Cafe” in Semester Two. These and other fundraisers, like our annual raffle, raise funds towards student travel, equipment, clinicians, and more. The Board of Directors also organize and run the Front of House at the Rozsa Centre Shows that conclude each semester.
Members are also involved by volunteering for events such as our Feeder School Concert Tour, Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra Trips, Band Camp, and festivals.
Best of all, we have fun! Friendships are formed and laughter is shared while our common purpose unites us. We’d love to see you at our next meeting!
