We do not “use” students as cogs in a machine soley in the pursuit of performance. We build young people through quality experiences and performances in our Notre Dame High School music program. Music serves our students, the community, and our society. Dreams don’t work until you do, and no one ever regretted doing their best. #MusicForLife #PowerOfTheArts
NDHS music explores the Program of Studies of the Alberta Education curriculum in choral music, instrumental music, and the locally-developed course (LDC) in instrumental jazz. Enrichment is provided through expert clinicians, guest conductors, external concerts, festival participation, rehearsal field trips, public performances, travel and communication with living composers. Enrichment is sponsored through countless volunteer hours and dedicated fundraising leadership by the Notre Dame Music Foundation, in which all NDHS music families are automatically members.
