Our School History

Our Lady of Grace is a kindergarten to grade 9 school serving the community of Evanston; operating within the Calgary Catholic School District. Our Lady of Grace opened its doors as an educational community in September 2016. The school strives for a tradition of progressive and innovative educational practices demonstrating a strong commitment to Catholic education; while fostering a climate of responsibility toward ourselves, neighbours, community and the environment.

Our school is named in honour of the Virgin Mary, Blessed mother of our Lord Jesus. With Mary as our model, we value our Catholic faith and the unique gifts found in each person. We envision a school where our educational process leads children to embrace and promote peace and social justice in our world.

Our Lady of Grace

Feast Day: February 7

Patron Saint of all humanity, as well as groups that include mothers; blood donors; travelers and those who work in the travel industry; cooks and those who work in the food industry; construction workers; people who make clothes, jewelry, and home furnishings; numerous places and churches worldwide; and people who are seeking spiritual enlightenment.
