Welcome to all student's and families to St. Albert the Great School.
Our teaching and support staff looks forward to working with you throughout the current school year.Plans have been made to help us build a school that has a strong instructional focus and a caring, Catholic school culture. We are blessed with an exceptional staff, talented students and supportive parents. As educators we will encourage your children to do their best.We ask you to work co-operatively with us in making this a positive and successful school year.
Catholic schools are here to support parents’ values and beliefs and to allow children to live out those values in an environment based on gospel values and the spiritual journey of which we are all a part.We ask your assistance, cooperation and support so that together, with St. Albert the Great Parish, we may meet the mandate of educating your children in the Catholic academic tradition. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, trust and mutual support we can meet any challenges and begin a tradition of caring and excellence at St. Albert the Great School.
A school agenda is also an important part of our efforts to keep parents informed and help students to build their organizational skills. However, the system will not work without your active support. Please encourage your son/daughter to use this agenda on a regular basis and reinforce this request by frequently checking to see that homework, exams, and important events are in fact being recorded.
I wish all students a successful school year and encourage them to be responsible in their learning.Parents, I encourage you to closely monitor your child's homework and activities, and to contact teachers or the administration with any concerns.
Mr. John Mooney
