Junior High Basketball News

December is a busy time around the school community and basketball is a significant part of the pre-holiday chaos. Basketball club is in full swing in preparation for the upcoming season. Boys and girls can enjoy some free gym time to brush up their skills prior to try-outs. Speaking of which, senior try-outs will be starting on Monday, December 12th. Potential team members can listen for details during announcements. Junior teams will not be selected until after the winter break.

The 4th annual SEC (South East Corner) Challenge basketball tournament is fast approaching as well. St. Albert the Great is co-hosting a pre-holiday basketball tournament with friends and local rivals, St. Isabella School. Games will take place at both venues December 19th, 20th and 21st. Tournaments take all sorts of support to be truly successful. Consider volunteering some of your time at the concession or the scoring table. If you’re not able to volunteer come out and show some Bruin spirit on the sidelines!
