ST. ANNE ACADEMIC CENTRE

PRINCIPAL’S WELCOME

Welcome to St. Anne Academic Centre
Providing Creative Learning Solutions.

It is with great excitement that I address and welcome you to our school community. With the support of Annie Gauthier-Desrochers, David MacDonald and Mark Macaraeg our Vice Principals and other amazing staff, I am certain it will be another exciting year of teaching and learning for our school community.

I am committed to meeting and developing working relationships with all stakeholders in our community. As such I invite you to drop in to introduce yourself, so I have the opportunity to meet many of the families and students who make our school what it is. Feel free to send an email or call (403) 500-2012 if you have questions or would like to introduce yourself.

We are very enthusiastic about working with all of you as you continue to flourish in your academic and spiritual development. Our staff is second to none and will strive to meet the individual needs of each and every one of you.

Not only will academic opportunities be available, many of our staff will work in leading or assisting with community access endeavors. We know that developing the “whole student” requires more than just one focus.

As such, spiritual development will be permeated by exploring many of the virtues demonstrated in Jesus’ teachings. On a monthly basis (through Catholic Community of Caring activities, displays and liturgies) specific classes and teachers will choose specific virtues and explore them deeper with each other.

Have a wonderful year everyone.

Yours in faith and academics,

Steve Petingola, Principal
