There continues to be no let up of school activities, presentations, and field trips as we begin the month of May. The calendar is full of exciting educational opportunities for our students including Active Living Day, Explore IT Conference, Robotics Competition, First Holy Communion Mass, Badminton and Flag Football Championships, Junior High Instrumental Music (Band) Concert, Kindergarten Orientation, ES2 Spring Fling, and our annual Fine Arts Production “Mary Poppins Junior.” Spring is an exciting time of year as we begin to spend more time outdoors, the weather improves and the days grow longer. School days are waning and students are reminded to maintain their academic focus as final exams and Provincial Achievement Tests will soon be written. Our Grade 9 students will be calling themselves high school students in a few short months. Many of you will be remembering the first day of school and will be asking yourself, “Where has the time gone?” St. Brigid staff and students would like to cordially invite all volunteers and parents who gave of their time and talent to our annual Volunteer Appreciation Tea on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 2:30 pm. We are already hard at work planning for the 2018-2019 school year. Parents are kindly asked to order the school supplies for next year. For your convenience, St. Brigid School will be once again using the services of SchoolStart to provide our students with economical and good quality supplies for the 2018-2019 school year. Information on ordering school supplies will be emailed home soon as well as posted on the school website.
