If you have an interest in acting, singing, dancing or the technical side of theatre, then Drama is the place for you.
DRAMA 10 and 20 (3 or 5 credits)
Drama 10 starts developing the individual's creative potential and lays the foundation for performance. Drama 20 is a continuation of the drama program.
DRAMA 30 (5 credits)
This course further extends the foundations for performance and may be used as an elective for entrance to some University programs.
ADVANCED ACTING/TOURING 15 and 25 (3 credits)
The primary focus of the 15 level course is on the writing and performance of a collective. The 25 level course is for those students who have additional advanced acting training outside Junior and Senior High School. In addition, students are also required to take Drama 10 in addition to Advanced Acting/Touring 15.
ADVANCED ACTING/TOURING 35 (3 credits)
A continuation of the Advanced Acting Program. This course may be used as an elective for entrance to some University programs.
MUSICAL THEATRE 15, 25 and 35 (5 credits)
Musical Theatre focuses on the components of performance. The higher level Musical Theatre courses offer opportunities to take on leadership roles and choreograph, direct and coach.
TECHNICAL THEATRE 15, 25 and 35 (3 or 5 credits)
These courses are designed to be hands-on while learning the technical and management end of theatre.
