CHORAL MUSIC 10, 20, 30 (5 credits)
Through group and solo singing, students learn vocal technique, musicianship, sight-reading skills and an appreciation of a variety of musical styles. Choral Music 20 and 30 are a continuation of the choral program. Note: These courses meet outside the timetable throughout the entire school year. It will be scheduled either before or after regular school hours.
VOCAL JAZZ 15, 25, 35 (5 credits)
These courses provide opportunities for advanced singers to engage in the jazz idiom, and scat, acapella signing along with increased performance opportunities. Note: These courses meet outside the timetable throughout the entire school year. It will be scheduled either before or after regular school hours.
INSTRUMENTAL JAZZ 15, 25, 35 (5 credits)
This course is performance based and will focus on the jazz idiom and styles. These courses meet outside the timetable throughout the entire school year.
INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC 10, 20, 30 (5 credits)
Instrumental Music 10 requires student have Grade 9 Band. Students in these courses are required to attend Concert Band rehearsals either before or after school. This is a full year course. Students meet every other day for the entire school year.
