The Student Services Department places a high priority on helping students plan their educational futures. They help you make an informed decision about high school that best meets your long-term goals. They assist students and parents by providing information and programs that help bridge the transition students make when moving from high school to post secondary studies and to the world of work.
When therapy is deemed necessary, student and/or family is referred to the appropriate community agency.
Counsellors provide personal, social and emotional counselling, course planning, scholarships, post-secondary planning and other support services.
Healthy Relationships Program promotes healthy relationships and choices for youth who are experiencing family, peer or partner discord. The in-school program provides group counselling over ten weekly sessions guided by two trained facilitators. Please see your counsellor for further information.
Parents as Career Coaches – Information sessions designed to assist parents in the fine art of helping their adolescents choose the career for them.

MY PASS-ALBERTA EDUCATION
SHAD VALLEY STUDENT PROGRAM
SHAD VALLEY is the name of a highly-respected student-learning program that allows for students to develop and advance various science, business and marketing opportunities with other highly motivated students at any one of 11 selected universities across Canada. Saint Francis has had the privilege of offering and allowing students to engage in this 4-week summer program through an application and selection process with outstanding success and fellowships and sponsorships are certainly available.
