Our new faith theme this year which will continue to be our faith theme over the next three years is: "Ask, and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you" (Matthew 7:7).

In this initial year, we will focus on the first part of the scripture verse, "Ask and it will be given you." Just as Jesus taught his disciples how to pray and could be found praying in different kinds of situations himself, Jesus instructs us to habitually approach God in prayer so that we may grow towards perfection. We are to bring our entire being and all of our needs to our heavenly Father and never grow tired of seeking God's help.

Fostering a faith relationship with God through prayer is part of the ongoing work of Catholic education as it is through prayer that we come to know God's abundant love and mercy for us, are helped to become all that God wishes us to be, and learn to live and move and act in God's abiding presence.
