What is PATHS? PATHS is an award winning violence prevention program. It is a program to help build social skills, improve academics and prevent bullying. PATHS stands for Promoting Alternative Thinking Strategies.
Two times a week, PATHS is being taught in all elementary grades in our school, so every child is learning how to make and be a good friend, learning how to resolve conflicts and feel good about themselves. When children feel good about themselves, they feel better about coming to school. With children spending several hours of their day in school, there is no better place to teach and practice PATHS than in their school environment.
If you have any questions about the PATHS program please talk to your child’s teacher or school administration team.
