All Calgary Catholic elementary schools offer a half-day kindergarten program and depending on total kindergarten enrollment, we may offer a choice of morning or afternoon classes on a first-come, first-served basis. A child who turns four years old on or before March 1 is eligible to attend kindergarten in the fall of that same calendar year. For example, this means to register for kindergarten in September 2017, a child must turn four years old on or before March 1, 2017. Your child’s birth certificate is required at the time of registration.
If you have a child who is starting kindergarten this September 2017 and you will be utilizing the services of Juvenescence Before and After School Care for the second half of the kindergarten day, please be aware that you MUST have your child registered in the AFTERNOON class. If you have requested the morning class and you want your child to attend Juvenescence for the other half of the day, please contact the school immediately to have your request changed to the afternoon kindergarten class. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the school.
Registration guidelines for the new SE schools (Prince of Peace, St. Marguerite and Our Lady of the Rosary) are listed in the attached document to assist in future planning and enrollment. See the attached link below for further information.
