August, 2018

On behalf of our St. Martha School staff, I send greetings to our returning families for the 2018/2019 school year, as well as extend a warm welcome to all the new families joining our school community. We are looking forward to a fantastic year of Learning and Growing in Our Catholic faith.

This year our Catholic Community of Caring focus within The Calgary Catholic School District moves into our new Religious theme "Search, and you will find." As well, we continue to move forward with our District focus on Champions; ensuring that all our students have an adult in our schools that they can identify with and with who they can develop a strong relationship.

During the 2018/2019 school year, we are very excited to continue our focus in the areas of Faith Formation, Student Wellness, and Academic Improvement through a wide variety of programs and initiatives including:

JH 4th R (Relationship building Among Peers)

PATHS: Promoting Alternative Thinking Skills for Elementary students

Full time school Counselor and Family / Home Support Worker

Responsibility Centered Discipline

JUMP Math I Mathletics I RAZ Kids Reading

Blogs I D2L

We are looking forward to working with our families this year in building relationships, developing a sense of community, and working together to create amazing learning opportunities for our students.
