August, 2020

On behalf of our St. Martha School staff, I send greetings to our returning families for the 2020/2021 school year, as well as extend a warm welcome to all the new families joining our school community. After a summer of uncertainty and change, we are looking forward to a fantastic year of 'Living and Learning in Our Catholic faith'.

This year our Catholic Community of Caring focus moves into our new District Religious theme "Faith, Hope and Love (1 Corinthians 13:13)." We continue to build our Champions focus into our school culture; ensuring that all our students have an adult in our school that they can identify with and with who they can develop a strong relationship. Following the uncertain times of the school shutdown due to COVID-19, and the online learning that continued after, we look forward to working with families to move ahead with new approaches to teaching and learning and adapting to our ever changing 'new reality'. Commuication and collaboration will be critical.

We are also excited to continue our focus in the areas of Faith Formation, Student Wellness, and Academic Improvement through a wide variety of programs. These will be outlined in our School Plans, which will be developed in September and posted in October on our school Website.

We are looking forward to working with our families this year in building relationships, developing a sense of community, and working together to create amazing learning opportunities for our students.
