This option CTS course is an enjoyable and beneficial class. You will gain useful and practical knowledge, skills and techniques that will last you a lifetime. If you are artistic and creative this can be another outlet for you. If you like to learn about healthy food and how to easily prepare it, and to expand your palate, this is the class for you.

Food Studies 10: We cover Food Basics FOD1010, Vegetables and Fruits FOD2180 and Milk Products and Eggs FOD2060.

Food Studies 20: We cover Basic Meat Cookery FOD2100, Cakes and Pastries FOD2040 and Soups and Sauces FOD2070.

Food Studies 30 – We cover Advanced Yeast Products FOD3040, Food Presentation FOD3060 and Regional Cuisine FOD3160.

Fashion Studies 10/20/30

This option CTS course is an enjoyable and beneficial class. You will gain useful knowledge, skills and techniques to last you a lifetime. These include designing your own clothes and experimenting with fabric. If you want a creative outlet, like to work with your hands and see immediate results, this is the course for you.

Fashion Studies 10: We cover Sewing Fundamentals FAS1030, Construction Fundamentals 1 FAS1130, and Flat Pattern 1 FAS2050

Fashion Studies 20: We cover Pattern Drafting 1 FAS2060, Construction Fundamentals 2 FAS2130, and Specialty Fabrics 1 FAS2090.

Fashion Studies 30: We cover Pattern Drafting 2 FAS3030, Construction Fundamentals 3 FAS3130, and Specialty Fabrics FAS3090.

Cosplay Couture 10/20/30

This option CTS course is an enjoyable and beneficial class. You will gain useful knowledge, skills and techniques to last you a lifetime. You can design an original costume from scratch or replicate your favourite character. You can sew the clothing and construct the accessories. If you want a creative outlet, like to work with your hands and see immediate results, this is the course for you. Although these are 3 credit courses, there is an opportunity to earn more credits at each lever.

Cosplay Couture 10: We cover Sewing Fundamentals Fas1030, Construction Fundamentals 1 FAS1130 and Creating Accessories FAS1060.

Cosplay Couture 20 and 30: The courses we cover will depend on what costumes you choose to design.
