Junior and Senior High Students (City of Calgary)

According to the Alberta government, in order to qualify for a transit pass rebate students must live more than 2.4km from their designated school. After the Alberta Government's Bill 1 was introduced, language immersion programs are now considered programs of choice and so St. Matthew is no longer the designated school for those families travelling from outside our school boundary area. And for those families who do live within our school boundary area and St. Matthew is their designated school, there are no families who must travel more than 2.4km walking distance. At this time, there are no students at St. Matthew who qualify for a transit pass rebate.More information can be found on the Transportation page of the Calgary Catholic School District website and by clicking here: Bill 1 and Transit Pass Rebate Information. If you have any questions please contact the school at 403-500-2030.
