St. Thomas More is very proud to be a uniform school. This parent-initiated program has been a long standing tradition. Our uniform policy has helped to create an atmosphere of equality among students and their peers, as well as making our students highly visible on field trips and in our own communities.
Students are expected to wear uniforms on a daily basis, Monday through Thursday, with the exception being Friday. The uniform is based on our school colours of royal blue, white, and black. There are some choices in what uniform pieces students can choose to wear. For girls, our uniform consists of a tunic (Division 1) or kilt (Division 2); if they prefer they may wear black bottoms with our school polo shirt and/or a school sweater vest. For boys the uniform consists of black bottoms, school polo shirt and/or a school sweater vest.
Uniform items are available from St. Thomas More School Council all year round. We do have most items in stock; however, specialty items (tunics, kilts, skorts, shorts, fleece vests/jackets) are ordered on a once yearly basis. Uniforms can be pre-ordered in May for the following school year.
School council accepts donations of uniform items to distribute to our families who are in need of assistance. School council also has a number of ‘gently used’ uniform items for sale at a reduced cost.
